Retired from a rewarding career in the US Air Force and NY Air National Guard in 2008 after 30 year active duty career. Various career assignments in both ground and airborne radar operations. Worked in defense industry from 2008-2010 as a Customer Advocate and Division Manager for Alion Science and Technology in Rome, NY and as a Business Development Manager for Lockheed Martin Radar Systems in Syracuse, NY from 2010-2013. In May 2013 I retired from full time employment with the defense industry and am continuing my volunteer work with the American Diabetes Association. I recently returned to work part-time as an Operations Superintendent for NUAIR Alliance. The NUAIR Alliance is a New York based not-for-profit coalition of more than 200 private and public entities and academic institutions working together to operate and oversee Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) testing in New York, Massachusetts and Michigan. Headquartered in Syracuse, NY, NUAIR supports the New York UAS Test Site at Griffiss International Airport in Rome, NY, one of just seven FAA-designated UAS test sites in the United States. We are at the forefront of public policy development, commercialization, and integration of UAS technology.
