Hi! Thanks for taking the time to visit my Linkedin profile.I support local land conservation efforts as the Fundraising & Engagement Manager at The Couchiching Conservancy, a non-profit land trust in Orillia, Ontario. With the help from supporters, members and volunteers, the Conservancy helps protect thousands of acres of land in the Couchiching-Severn Region and I am proud of the work that we do and to be a part of this team.My role focuses on fundraising, engagement, communications, relationship management and outreach. I feel very fortunate to be connected to so many passionate, dedicated people. Orillia has been my home for most of my life, so I want to make sure it's beautiful, healthy and protected for years and years to come.I graduated with honours from the Fundraising and Resource Development program at Georgian College and graduated at the top of my class from the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Lakehead University.Cover photo: Thomas C. Agnew Nature Reserve, outside of Washago. This property has a great trail system, small ponds, and makes for a good hour long hike. Be warned though - it is very buggy in the spring! I got eaten by mosquitoes for that photo (worth it?). Find out more about this property and download a trail map: http://www.couchichingconserv.ca/protecting-nature/maps/t-c-agnew-reserve/My photo: taken in Grant's Woods, the headquarters of the Conservancy's office. I think I must have thousands of photos of this forest by now. Again, another great trail system, open all year long.
