As a Project Manager for Dewberry, Christina has directly managed multiple flood studies for FEMA’s Risk MAP program both for Cooperative Technical Partners (CTPs) and under FEMA’s Production and Technical Services (PTS) contact, with a focus for several years on projects in NJ and MN. In support of the STARR II PTS joint venture, Christina is Dewberry’s Partner Production Lead overseeing production, invoicing, and problem solving for Dewberry’s STARR II flood studies. Christina is also the Regional Production Services (RPS) Lead for FEMA Region II (NJ, NY, PR, and USVI) studies, overseeing work of multiple Project Managers, and coordinating with FEMA and partners in support of three FEMA HQ Task Orders for FY19-FY21. Christina also acts as a Quality Reviewer, Quality Advocate, Process Lead, and Review Topic Lead, preparing, maintaining quality resources, training team members, and collaborating with peers to continually improve our quality of work. In FY22 and beyond, Christina looks forward to supporting FEMA Region VIII (including Flood Study updates in Denver, CO Mile High Flood District) while continuing to support our legacy projects and CTP clients (e.g, in NJ in Region II and in MN in Region V).

As the GIS Team manager for Dewberry’s Resilience Solutions, Christina directly oversaw a team off approximately 12 Geospatial professionals, and provided technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to the team. Christina also directly oversaw the team’s workload assignments, coordinated with Project Mangers to ensure the GIS team was meeting their needs, and performed annual performance appraisals. Christina was also actively involved in the recruitment and retention of new team members. While working as GIS Team lead, Christina continued her role as a Senior GIS Professional, reviewer, and acted as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager supporting a variety of projects for FEMA Risk MAP and Fish and Wildlife Services.

From June 2013 - June 2015, Christina served as a Senior Geographer with Dewberry. An accomplished geographer and GIS analyst, Christina had, at the time, over nine years of professional GIS production experience working with Federal, state, and local clients. Her expertise was in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and cartography, and GIS-based digital automation. She was an experienced member of a team of water resource engineers and GIS professionals that support federal and state clients. During that time, Christina lead production on numerous water resource and environmental projects for federal, state, and local clients, with a focus supporting FEMA as part of their Risk MAP initiative, and assisting state Cooperative Technical Partners (CTPs).
