In this position, I am responsible for uncovering opportunities, selling the benefits of the full catalog of products and selling against the competition. As an Account Representative I configure, price, negotiate and quote sales solutions as well as provide, proactive follow-up, product information and overall account support via the telephone. I also work within corporate initiatives including weekly forecast and opportunity management. I have also learned and presented the entire hardware portfolio.

Dealing primarily with advertising, publishing, graphic design, editing, marketing and customer service. As a Project Design Manager, I oversee the creation of local advertising guides for collegiate student planners and campus directories. I focus heavily on creating print advertisements, graphic editing, assembling and proofing layouts and working closely with customers to ensure satisfaction. I also manage a group of about 30 design and publishing interns and coordinate with sales and customer service teams for project completion. I also design marketing materials that support the company’s marketing initiatives while upholding branding guidelines.At this position I utilize my creativity, strong organizational and project management skills, attention to detail, self-motivation and ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.

I work with a team of managers and interns to facilitate phone calls and requests from our customers, our sales staff and the production department. I am responsible for select regions and ensuring that the contracts, ad approvals and tasks for those regions are processed and have met their respective deadlines and goals. As a department, our ultimate goal is to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and high percentage of customer collections. During this summer I have been responsible for training and maintaining a team of interns while also meeting tight deadlines, and working in a fast paced environment.

I managed accounts from different regions across the United States. I closed sales and assisted customers in making important marketing decisions. Each day I was making about 60 calls to previous customers. These were not cold calls and my main objective was to uncover their needs and provide solutions to their problems by using our marketing solutions. During my short time in Inside Sales I sold over $50,000.00 in our advertising products and managed to not only reach my monthly goals but also exceeded them. I very much enjoyed the fast pace of this position and plan to utilize the skills gained in my future endeavors.
