The Consulate General of the United States in Barcelona has launched the first edition (2022) and second edition (2023) of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) in Andorra together with Andorra Business and with the collaboration of the Women’s Association of Andorra (Associació de Dones d’Andorra). AWE is a free entrepreneurship program funded by the U.S. Department of State that aims to drive the development of women-led entrepreneurial projects. The program offers participating entrepreneurs a combination of face-to-face master classes, as well as DreamBuilder intensive virtual training from Arizona State University's US Thunderbird Business School. This business training aims to support the development and growth of a business or entrepreneurial project and enhance the skills of women entrepreneurs in the business field. All 23 participants will be part of AWE’s large global network of women entrepreneurs with more than 16,000 women from 80 countries around the world.
