Created an inventory analysis tool to quantify the benefit of shifting from strict, as-needed purchasing with local vendors to strategic, bulk purchasing from best cost country vendors; found and qualified an alternative supplier in best cost country that improved lead time constraints, reduced competitor exposure, and delivered $200k in savings using smart inventory management; lead cost workouts at two different plants; created and executed an outsourcing strategy that alleviated plant capacity issues while delivering over 30% cost reduction on 22 parts

Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) is an intense two-year rotational assignment program consisting of Masters level technical training and other experiences that provide the skills necessary for future technical leaders at GE.Third rotation is with the Subsea Wellhead RTS group. Created new Augmented Reality experiences for NHR manufacturing; AR technology provided added benefit in time reduction, cost savings, safety/security risk mitigation, and sales material. Currently represent engineering at manufacturing rhythm meeting; role includes communicating clearly about current rejection reports, establishing schedules, and issue resolution. Work with manufacturing, engineering, and sourcing to resolve part quality issues. Time for issue resolution is under 2 days and the savings of nonconformance parts is over $500k to date. Developed and presented “Concept Engine” process to engineering and management teams to drive innovative idea conception and development.

Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) is an intense two-year rotational assignment program consisting of Masters level technical training and other experiences that provide the skills necessary for future technical leaders at GE.Second rotation was with the Surface Flow Control OTR group. Designed and analyze 3 bonnet assemblies for Johann Sverdrup project. Led 5 detailed design reviews over a 2 week period with effort outside of normal work hours to meet production deadlines. Total value of order estimated near $73 million with $1.1 mil margin savings with updated design. Created and analyzed the bonnet assembly and assisted in API 16A qualification of a new actuator assembly (On time delivery, $2.2 mil order). Facilitated standardization efforts that resulted in 3 week reduction in OTR engineering cycle lead time. Increased the engineering capability offshore by creating engineering requisition tools and supporting the ITO Singapore team with training. Lead inventor of NoBolt Back Pressure Valve, disclosed in August 2016.

Dictated test and manufacturing schedule for new wellhead system roll-out, created and executed 13 tests to validate equipment, executed cost out measures that reduced cost of the system by 12%. Assisted in creation, design, and review of a major multibowl system for EOG Trinidad with on-time delivery of design (order worth over $3 mil). Project success has lead to future orders of the system. Designed and verified drilling and wellhead completion equipment Shell, GRC, Conoco, BP (order valued over$5mil).
