Clinical Trial Associate with 3 years of experience in clinical trials, working both within the pharmaceutical industry and an Investigator-initiated study, the STAREE Clinical Trial in Melbourne Australia and have recently moved to London to pursue my dream of living here! In my role as Clinical Trial Associate I managed administrative and business activities of the studies. I honed my skills for the Veeva Vault electronic Trial Master File and management of milestones and expected documents. I managed the finance activities for the studies, improving my problem solving and communication skills working with the sites to pay their finances. In my position working on the STAREE trial, I provided support to the trial participants, as well as overseeing the completion of the trials primary endpoint as the endpoint captain. In this role I liaised with GP clinics and hospitals to collate medical records and prepare endpoint cases to present to external adjudication committees to confirm the endpoints. My excellent oral, written and communication skills developed in this role enabled the ability to handle complex task such as the preparation of endpoint cases, which during my time in this role saw a reduction in queries and a streamlined process. While as a Research Support Officer, I supported patients on the trial and managed the administrational data entry workload. My attention to detail, time management and excellent prioritisation skills enabled all tasks to be completed in a timely manner.
