Currently, I work as a Human Performance Principal at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), supporting Air Force data collection and analysis to improve training. Previously, I held the role of Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychologist at Chenega Corporation supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division in an effort to update and modernize Navy training. Prior to this, I worked at Huntington Ingalls Industries, during which I spent the latter half of my time as a Program Operations Support Manager acting as a liaison between program employees and government customers for the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Service (AFMS3) contract. I also worked as an I/O Psychology analyst with a six-person team to conduct a training needs assessment for the Air Force's B-52 maintenance community, during which I collected and analyzed quantitative and qualitative data to provide training recommendations. I received my Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Prior to graduate school, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with minors in Business Administration and Leadership Studies. As an undergraduate and graduate student, I worked at UCF’s Institute for Simulation and Training researching teamwork, communication, roles, and leadership in mission critical, high-risk environments. More specifically, I was involved with research design and data collection related to healthcare settings, NASA’s long-duration space exploration missions, military environments, Boeing, and Johnson & Johnson. In the past, I also researched topics such as PTSD in second-victims, medical simulation, and positive deviance in workplace settings. Additionally, as a Graduate Research Assistant, I managed and delegated tasks to over 20 Undergraduate Research Assistants for a variety of of projects which included field, laboratory, and archival data collection methods.
