Operations Support Representative
Laredo, Texas Area
-Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.-Billing of invoices, and is responsible for payment collections.-Works closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.-Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business-Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.-Reports to the Customer providing regular input on all account activity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis.-Is actively involved in developing relationships with existing customers and employees-Communicate to customer on upcoming capacity expectations, market changes, or natural disasters and how it is expected to impact their business-Help improve efficiency and process for ops team by integrating new technology and enhancements or ideas learned from the network. (Also work out bugs and resolution for any IT changes/enhancements that impact the ops team).-Situational training/coaching for ops person, specifically with how to deliver or craft messages to customer requests, suggestions, complaints-Help maintain updated SOP for designated customers.-Monitor/Track and Trace Load Board activity, Trucks; make sure all loads have been covered and follow up with any pick ups and deliveries.-If Account Manager is not available, take ownership of responsibilities for all account functions such as load building, appointment set, all event-log follow up and problem resolution (both customer and carrier).-Maintain New Customer Process: customer credit application, customer contacts, payment terms, list of contacts, email and phone numbers, set up meetings, business visits, courtesy lunches, business presentations, etc.
