Claudia López-Lupercio is a Government & Public Affairs professional with over 16 years of experience executing and driving department goals forward by providing strategic counsel to associations, lawmakers, corporate teams, and consulting firms.López-Lupercio most recently worked for the California State Senate as a District Director helping lead a team. She has worked for Facebook on the Global Public Policy team in Menlo Park, splitting her time and responsibilities across Public Policy Visits and Community Engagement. López-Lupercio worked for The Coca-Cola Company where she was a Manager of Public Affairs and Communications. In that capacity, she worked closely with state and local legislators to shape a favorable landscape for the company and created partnerships to connect businesses, government and the public through community building projects. As former Spanish Press Secretary and Field Representative for the California State Senate, she managed district outreach and media relations and conducted frequent interviews and debates on key policy issues such as education and health care for TV networks such as Univision, Telemundo, Azetca America and Estrella. On the personal front, she is a native of the Bay Area and is an active member in local and state politics. Her parent's immigrated to the United States from Mexico to provide their family with a better life which meant working as a farmer, factory worker and in retail. López-Lupercio has a double BA in Political Science/Latino Studies and Sociology from San Francisco State University.
