Interfaced with business owners and key stakeholder groups across Telefonica UK to identify, shape and imbed BI into key customer propositions. Responsible for ensuring the end deliverable satisfied the business needs for driving deeper customer insights, measuring product performance, executing campaign activity and enabling strategic decisioning.

Collaborated with the global IT teams in India and the US to deliver key customer insights for the development of an enterprise cube for the European Marketing team at Cisco. The e-cube provided a strategic account view of the installed customer base. Used SAS as the main BI tool for producing campaign target lists based on specific business rules. Performed data extraction (SQL query) and reporting from Teradata front-end and Business Objects, and exported data into Microsoft ACCESS and Excel pivot tables. Documented campaign rule extraction processes and developed data cleansing and de-duping rules. Trained Cisco account managers in the use of the Customer Intelligence dashboards.

Undertook various strategy consulting engagements for Virgin Unite, the charitable foundation of the Virgin group, including:▪ Collaborated on the business plan and strategy for an Indian charitable foundation▪ Led a strategy & planning workshop for a UK based education institution.

Managed a team of 11 technical consultants, ensuring consultants performed against revenue and realisation targets. Worked collaboratively with the consultancy leadership team in Professional Services to define and implement strategy, manage resourcing, input into departmental budgets and business plans.

Project managed the delivery of several BI initiatives in a matrix organization including: Delivery of a Demand Forecasting and Replenishment solution for a major grocery retailer. The implementation involved a blended team from SAS, the customer and a 3rd party. Implementation of SAS Web Analytics for a government department. This was a hosted solution involving a third party data centre. Used SAS BI front-end to report web site usage via a web browser. Project Managed the SAS9 migration for a large financial services firm. The project had a high risk profile due to a number of external dependencies. It was successfully delivered within time and budget due to pro-active risk management and stakeholder engagement.
