• Worked in the Keppel Fels Shipyard on Semi-submersible 6th Gen Drilling Rigs for Sete Brasil;• Overviewed and supervised the Shipyard’s installation of the National Oilwell Varco Equipment (Pipe handling crane, BOP Trolley, Riser Gantry crane, HPU and service basket);• Verified PIB (Product Information Bulletins) and Safety Alerts for all equipment, applied as needed;• Got the equipment ready to be delivered to the customer by making hydraulic and pneumatic adjustments (Pressure, flow, temperature and vibration as per engineering drawings);• Tested and performed troubleshooting on the equipment;• Commissioned the equipment with the Customer (Shipyard) and the client (Queiroz Galvão);• Documented Red lines;

• Was hired to partake in the National Oilwell Varco Technical College (review hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, controls and learn about all the drilling equipment) for a year, then work as a service man offshore in Brazil (troubleshooting, installing upgrades, repairing equipment);• Finished the Technical College ahead of time in 9 months, 3 months earlier than most;• Got selected into the Lifting and Handling division. It focused on Lifting and handling equipment (Knuckle boom cranes, lattice boom cranes, mooring winches, Spools);• Spent weeks in the US and over a month in Norway perfecting hydraulics and taking crane specific classes in order to better understand, troubleshoot and perform maintenance in their respective equipment;• Worked offshore troubleshooting and fixing the customer’s equipment as needed;

• Served as the only mechanical engineer working on product design and development;• Ensured that quality control standards were met in the manufacturing floor;• Documented manufacturing process and controls:• Manuals• Assembly procedures• BOMs• Provided instruction and training to factory employees as required;• Maintained and organized product documentation and drawings (revisions);

• Worked in the manufacturing floor assembling mail sorting machines;• After hours I had permission from engineering to work on a project. With the time, I designed a one-person mail workstation;• Designed and built the first Manual Mail Workstation System, the design is sold to this day;
