I periodically advised IDG Ventures on market and technology trends. Often served as IDC spokesperson for both local and regional media in Asia on various topics. Was the lead analyst from 2012-2014 for IDC’s CIO Awards and for the CIO Summit events that spanned most of the AP region.Directly responsible for two full-time headcounts.

Report findings helped the client better assess requirements for logistics and distribution networks and also assess implementation costs for its future Chinese after-sales service network• Two separate research projects about Mobile Number Portability for two Japanese mobile operators (main focus was Hong Kong, Korea and the US but also included Europe). Project findings guided clients on implementation strategies ahead of the introduction of MNP in Japan• Authored ‘Mobile Number Portability Understanding regulatory impact and market dynamics’ published in July 2004 (Baskerville Publications).
