Currently working with technical leadership to consolidate data center technology, processes, and teams from multiple acquired companies. This includes developing unified standards for storage, networking, and virtualization to support a wide portfolio of hosted services. I'm also testing alternative security solutions for our multi-tenant hosting platform to enhance our scalability and platform portability. I also assist with customer environment migrations and customer connectivity deployments.

Integris purchased CalTech in January 2023. My role and responsibilities transferred over and remain unchanged.

Designed and deployed a multi-site, active/active, multi-tenant hosting and disaster recovery environment leveraging technologies from Cisco, VMWare, and Nutanix. Designed backup infrastructure using Veeam and VMWare for a hosted backup solution. Set the infrastructure and initial processes for a hosted SDWAN solution using VMWare VeloCloud.Created processes and standards for customer deployments, and coordinated the service design with customer Account Teams, Sales, and mainline support teams. Grew the Data Center department and implemented practices to allow a small team to manage data center infrastructure and three customer facing hosted services.Perform research and development for new tooling and methodologies to increase service stability and employee efficiency. Work with sales, project, and mainline support departments to determine customer and engineer needs. Utilize cross-departmental communication and coordination to develop new customer-facing services.Currently focusing on cloud architecture specific to Azure, advanced customer environment design, applying DevOps philosophies, and operational automation using PowerShell and vendor APIs.

Provide remote and on-premise technical and training support to users across three sites. Work closely with end users and business units to provide back-end solutions to business problems. Propose and implement expansion and repair projects from start to finish. Provide support services for network, hardware, software, and usability issues. Maintain communications and systems for an off-site office. Established and run an off-site disaster recovery site.
