My passion is teaching. I am grateful to have spent the last five years working with students in England, Italy, China and Germany. It has been challenging and rewarding at the same time to adapt successfully to new cultural settings by establishing a stimulating and cooperative learning environment. I consider myself fortunate to have had the chance to combine the two things I love the most - travelling and teaching. My passion for teaching and my curiosity for new kinds of learning have led me to venture into the online world where I have been teaching Skype-based classes for more than five years now counting more than 2,000 online lessons taught. Writing has been my passion for as long as I can remember and alongside teaching, it has been equally exciting to write my own blog and to share language contents on social media. I believe that a teacher should always be a learner, too, and I never want to stop learning. I recently greatly enjoyed completing two interesting teacher development courses and which taught me new skills such as designing teaching materials and vocabulary learning techniques. I share the vision of a holistic approach to teaching by focusing on everything the learner needs to know to communicate effectively. I love to use current cultural influences such as social networks, music and media as a means to help students to learn about themselves, as well as learning a language. Lastly, I make it my priority to foster students' social and emotional development as well as language learning.
