About Chris Leather

Chris has over 25 years experience in international development and humanitarian work with a particular focus on sustainable livelihoods, food security and nutrition. He has managed and supported nutrition relevant programmes in many countries and provided policy and strategic advice to national governments and international organisations. Chris has considerable experience in the evaluation of nutrition programmes and initiatives at national and global levels, including the independent comprehensive evaluation of the SUN Movement, the evaluation of the SUN Movement Multi-Partner Trust Fund and the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI) review of the DFID's nutrition work. He is an experienced facilitator of multi-stakeholder networks, having helped establish the Civil Society Mechanism for relations with the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) and facilitated events and processes of the SUN Movement Donor Network. Chris is a former member of the CFS Advisory Group and former Chair of the Integrated Phase Classification (IPC) global steering committee.
