Clement A. Reid is the Principal and Managing Director of The Reid Solutions Group Ltd (RSG). He is responsible for the broad programmatic areas of business development and growth, strategic marketing, and finance of RSG.Prior to joining the RSG, Clement worked for The Port Authority of the Cayman Islands (PACI). He has 20 years’ experience in port management, real estate development, the international supply chain and multimodal distribution.He served from 2015- 2018 as Port Director of PACI and a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to becoming Port Director, Clement held the positions of Deputy Port Director and Assistant Port Director.As Port Director, Clement was responsible for the broad programmatic areas of business development and growth, strategic marketing, finance, and operations of Cayman’s marine terminal facilities: The Port of George Town, The Cargo Distribution Centre, The cruise tender terminals and the Creek Port in Cayman Brac.Clement successfully built an experience management team and implemented the strategic plan of the organsiation, thereby changing the overall confidence in the organization both internally with employees and externally with International and Local customers. Clement believes that in order to bring about change to an organisation. it is essential to communicate the challenges the organization has overcome, laying out a clear and precise plan which is designed to achieve success.He led the port with emphasis on maintaining integrity and respectfulness amongst colleagues, as well as instilling the importance of being “a good corporate citizen to the community”.Clement previously served on the Board of Directors of the Maritime Authority of the Cayman Islands from 2015 to 2018.Clement received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from The Florida Institute of Technology and later earned his Executive Certificate in Global Leadership from the Florida International University.
