As part of the HR team in the Wichita plant, used WCM (World Class Manufacturing) tools to drive lean methods and continuous improvement. Served on the Workplace Organization, Autonomous Maintenance pillars as well as People Development Pillar Co-Lead and Pillar Lead. Developed training and development plans for all levels of the plant and coordinated training events. Led cross functional teams to track and attack Human Error losses, providing visual management of issues and success of countermeasures. HR responsibilities included community involvement projects, general HR work, recruiting, interviewing and hiring for hourly and salaried positions.

I provided leadership for 51 welders and 18 painters in a factory that uses World Class Manufacturing tools to manufacture skid steer loaders for world wide distribution.

I supervised one swing shift of 45 people and was responsible for all employees on shift and the facilities when the shift worked evening or weekend hours.During my shift responsibilities included safety of the crew, quality and quantity of my crews production.

I supervised one shift of 31 people who completed the forming process for automotive and commercial batteries. During my time as supervisor I took part in the instillation and development of a new production line with a new and unproven process. My team developed best practices for this line.
