CLEVE STEVENS is the author of THE BEST IN US: People, Profit, and the Remaking of Modern Leadership (Beaufort Books, 2012). Cleve has appeared on CNN, the Nightly Business Report (PBS) Fox Business News and was featured in the Times of London. Dr. Stevens has published numerous articles on leadership and the psychology of leadership for Leader To Leader, Harvard Business Review (blog), Time Inc.com, Forbes.com., and CNBC, among others. Cleve has been in the field of leadership development for twenty-five years, working with fortune 500 executives and leaders of most every stripe in Asia, Europe, and North America. He holds a BA from the University of California at Irvine, a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a PhD in social ethics from the University of Southern California. Dr. Stevens has taught at the graduate and undergraduate levels at USC, Pepperdine University,Beijing University, and North Eastern University (China). Cleve is the founder and president of the Orange County-based leadership consulting firm, Owl Sight Intentions, Inc. When not on the road with clients, he is either at home in Southern California or, in the winter months, pursuing his first love, skiing anywhere there’s good snow.
