Cross trained Radio Operator, into Data/IT technician. Managed and ran a helpdesk with over 1000 users and over 750 assets. Implemented and maintained data services as well as data security systems to include Sharepoint, Shared Drive (hosted locally NAS), and public facing websites. Managed local systems to maintain DOD DIACAP standards on all our networks (both enterprise and locally ad-hoc). Managed 3 asset lifecycle replacement projects totaling over 1000 assets in a 3 year period. Managed and supervised the upgrade of all assets from Windows XP to Windows 7. Supervised a team of over 15 employees on day to day tasks for the helpdesk including 13 that were not of IT background. Implemented and verified security policies to strengthen the unit’s system resulting in a drop of cyber incidents. Implemented and managed the unit’s move from hosted NAS to Microsoft Sharepoint. Inventoried, managed and accounted for assets totaling over 5 million dollars. Personally responsible for the both the physical security of the assets and the electronic cryptographic material used in the military.

Install, Maintained, and Troubleshoot radio network systems utilizing both commercial and tactical radio equipment. Instructor at School of Infantry-Hawaii detachment while also head of multiple departments (Data, Radio, Telecommunications, and Communications Security).
