I lead the Web, Interactive and Visual Design team within Enterprise Associate Communications. Often dubbed the "creative" team for Corporate Communications, my team provides and executes strategic and creative direction for the intranet and other business leader requests. Our focus is to engage, inform and motivate associates - accomplishing this through the application of best practices, knowledge of our audience and staying on top of technology and design trends. I lead a team of extremely talented individuals, who consistently deliver products that far exceed our clients' expectations. Even more important, their work is embraced by our associates.

I manage the creative production team in Multimedia Solutions (Corporate Marketing & Communications). My team is responsible for creative development and execution of video, Flash/interactive design, web, graphic design and live events for mostly internal audiences. In addition, I manage the strategic direction and content management of Nationwide's intranet. I am fortunate to manage a team that is extremely talented and who produce an amazing amount of work that is creative, professional and effective. All five functions are self-sufficient, yet they respect and support each others' roles. We recognize that the work we do has the potential to impact more than 33,000 associates every day -- what a great role to be in!

As director of Web & Editorial Services, I manage a team responsible for: strategic direction and content for Nationwide's intranet; corporate content on Nationwide.com; and distribution of e-mails from corporate communications and members of the office of the CEO. I also managed the development of HaveTheTalkAmerica.com, one of Nationwide's microsites. One of my key responsibilities is ensuring effective relationships with key partners, such as human resources and information technology.

Managed a team of writers and designers for NF's online service center for investment professionals; wrote content for consumer-facing site: nationwidefinancial.com.
