Offering more than 15 years of project management, proposal development, contract negotiation, and facilities management experience, with additional experience as a Lieutenant-Colonel in the Canadian Forces, I’ve had the privilege of participating on projects and initiatives around the world. My work has taken me across Canada, as well as to the USA, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Abu Dhabi, South Sudan, Germany, Haiti, Bosnia, and Croatia. These challenging experiences allowed me to identify problems, build relationships with clients and contractors, evaluate situations, design plans, and launch operations for successful operations and facilities.An overview of my career includes these highlights:>> CNRL’s new Richardson Lodge at Horizon Oil Sands: Applied expertise in project management best practices to reduce resource waste and improve efficiency and cost effectiveness. Developed plans in collaboration with affected departments for 2014 Pit Stop, relying on success for planning of future maintenance turnarounds. >> DynCorp’s proposal to Kuwait Ministry of Defence: Compiled and presented technical section of winning proposal, fulfilling client’s need for land vehicle maintenance using existing infrastructure.>> SNC-Lavalin PAE’s takeover of 6 camps and 15 services in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Designed transition plan from outgoing contractor, delivering services involving nearly 500 employees. I enjoy collaborating with diverse teams, and quickly adapt to the changing needs of clients, staff, and contractors to encourage focused efforts.
