Member of the senior management team which drove the transformation of the Division from a $85M print business to a dynamic $250M digital/print business. Division was the fourth largest higher education publisher in US at time of asset sale in May 2008 to Cengage Learning ($750M transaction). Organizational responsibilities included all Business Office functions (annual budget build, intra-year forecasts, incentive plan administration, monthly reporting), Inventory Planning, and Customer Service. Prepared analysis for product investment guidelines and metrics analytics, and data for strategic planning and Board presentations. Approved all major third party agreements and handled business relationship with wholesalers and retailers (Amazon, B&N, Follett). Involved in Corporate transactions including sale of Houghton Mifflin to Vivendi (2001) and Bain Lee (2002).
