I’m passionate about the customer experience, and automation. Finding ways to get these two things working hand in hand to provide consistent, replicable, efficient customer-focused outcomes. I recently embarked on a journey working with a new team of 18 staff with various backgrounds and skill sets to deliver 3 unique services from one team. The two most important aspects were ensuring that our customers continued to see improvements in our services and that our staff received the training and support allowing for our success as a team. One of the ways we achieved this was by looking at our opportunity’s for automation and innovation. We sought to identify key service improvement opportunities by asking ourself’s and customers 3 questions, Why are our customers being impacted by this? How can we stop this from being an issue?Is there anything we can do to automate this if we can't stop it completely. As a result, we managed to turn 30% of our incidents into proactive calls. With early identification we significantly reduced our resolution times, the productivity of staff increased and the overall impact to the business was reduced.
