Lead a team of CNC programmers and Machinists within the Bearings value stream to support production activities and to maintain and improve machining processes and systems.

Bearings R&D Machinist who's responsible to work with Customer and Process Engineers to develop new products in our market of diamond bearings for our current customers and new customers. This role also involves working with production to improve current product yields and efficiency as well as improving processes which helps our overall performance as an organization. I am currently a member of the P.O.G. (Process Optimization Group) who's focus is optimizing our Lathes, Mills & Blasting processes.

CNC Team Lead who's responsible to coach, train and develop the team members to deliver values that improve the lives of all the stakeholders. Skilled in seeing gaps in processes and team and solve problems using PDCA methods to improve standards that can be yoketan'd throughout the organization. Current member of the C.O.G. Team (Copa Optimization Group) who's purpose is to optimize the T.M. and T.L. COPA and standardize best methods throughout the organization.

Trained to setup and run CNC Machines such as Lathes, Mills, Edms & Grinder. Helped implement lean principles and adapt the worksite into a high performance worksite with on average 15 kaizens monthly. Used PDCA to see gaps and solve problems daily which included:-Improved written & visual standards-Designed & implemented chip shields in machines to reduce 5s time & machine damage by 50%.-Designed & implemented tool kiosks at each machine with all required tooling for changeovers at the machine with clear homes which reduced amount of time down during changeovers by 30%.-Designed & implemented a braze inventory station with standards to prevent stock outs and excess inventory from occurring which was yoketan'd throughout all CNC factories. -Improved the method for aligning lathes with a step by step breakdown on the proper way to do the job as well as added access panels to machines for ease and reduced the amount of down time by 30%. -Assisted in training of new team members.
