As a CY Coordinator I have many functions. Primarily I act as administrative liason for our container yard. I am the POC for each company and SSL that stores equipment on our yard. I issue out equipment to trucking companies with export and domestic bookings. I handle all issues and affairs associated with our CY. I.E., CY Billing, Booking issues, Assissting gate staff, with day to day operations, troubleshooting and repairing all handhelds used at the gate, Keeping CY staff stocked with supplies they need to do their jobs, handling any export or domestic booking issues, coordinating operations with SSL's, Equipment Specialist, Coordinating all preventative maintenance of lifts and yard trucks. I am not a manager but I do coordinate day to day operations and act at CY manager when CY manager is on PTO or out of town on business.
