I work as a consultant and provide onsite services by testing, measuring, and supervising the operation of drilling fluids, including technical analysis and practical recommendations for controlling fluid properties. Responsible for accurately testing the properties of the fluid and providing constant support to aid operations in providing the most efficient, environmentally safe drilling fluids that are available. I use my knowledge of products and services and my experience in drilling fluid technology to optimize service quality. Work with personnel to ensure proper coordination of their respective scopes of work concerning drilling fluids. Remain alert to the means and methods by which the operations of the projects may be improved. Perform hazard recognition and assist in removing all hazards from the workplace environment. Ensure availability of materials and supplies.

I worked under the direction of my Project Engineer to assist in the coordination of the operational aspects of the projects that are assigned to be completed. Worked with DFS personnel to insure proper understanding and coordination of their respective scopes of work and that they are properly completed. Remain alert to means and methods by which the operations of the projects may be improved. Perform hazard recognition and assist in removing all hazards from the workplace environment. Investigate customer complaints and take the proper action to resolve them.I worked with the latest advancements in the chemical composition, testing and maintenance of oil-, water- and synthetic-base drilling fluids. I learned how to modify and engineer these drilling fluids to control a full range of drilling concerns, including lost circulation, stuck pipe, pressure control and corrosion. I assisted in directing the operations of special projects as needed. Planned and coordinated work activities and operations relating to area(s) of responsibility; ensured quality and quantity standards are achieved in a cost effective and efficient manner; ensured availability of materials and supplies; identified problems and initiated or recommended corrective action.
