Assisting in the data collection, profiling, and showcasing of the Mid-Michigan Program for Greater Sustainability energy audit study of built structures. This study of residential and commercial structures encompasses an are of 49 miles by half a mile of the Grand River rd corridor from Webberville to Lansing, MI. The audit will be part of the corridor design portfolio, and educate along with offer guidance on sustainable land use and transit developments. This project will provide dataand tools for addressing identified energy efficiency issues for various types of buildings.

Assisting in the collection of data for the townships re-inspection process, which selects a section of the township each year to confirm or update the property records. A large amount of work includes dealing with the township tax payers, inspecting interior and exteriors of homes, along with the measuring of items on the property. Tasks also include to updating of sketches via apex software, and the updating of property records using BSA.net software.

My basic tasks included:-Prepare drinks and deli items.-Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks-Count drawers, record transactions, prepare bank bagsMy non-tasks included:-Getting to know the customers, names, stories, and their favorite drinks.-Gaining a greater understanding of the service industry.-Being happy, hyper, and always willing to get the job done; it helps having all the coffee though!

When not assist patrons in finding maps/books, I would repair, organize, and file maps/books (according to their system). Occasionally I would be assisting in developing digital archive for the Map Library, including digital maps, GIS data collections, and checking the latest in online archives.

While working on numerous projects for the Emergency Management office my key functions were, assisting in Emergency Management Exercises, updating critical infrastructure listings (preforming physical checks and updating the database), and designing and mapping area specific emergency plans.

I take clothes from a Unit Sold Report(U.S.R.) and properly fold them along with attach size stickers; then I place them on the sales floor replenishing the sold items. I also make sure the stock room is clean and neat, such as cleaning floors, and organizing the clothing bays.

While working here I operated a Robotic Welder using MIG and Aluminum MIG machines. It welded sections or parts for trench boxes. My responsibilities included making sure the robot was hitting key weld points specified by plans, and I had to inspect ever piece coming off the robotic jig to insure it was properly welded.

While working here I assisted customers in bagging their groceries. I also had numerous other responsibilities such as: cleaning floors, taking out trash, collecting shopping karts, visually adjusting shelfs, and assisting customers to their cars.
