I would describe myself as an analytical thinker with a keen attention to detail, and a gravitation towards all things technological.I have 10 years experience working in an enterprise team environment, where responsibilities primarily included requirements gathering with corporate clients, design and development of .NET / Core or Java based applications, deployments, version control, and mentorship of junior and intermediate developers.As a result, I have worked successfully on a number of clients and technologies over the years, each with their own set of challenges. My peers have also described me as someone who is positive, calm under pressure, and able to assess the situation quickly and accurately.I’m looking for a position where I can collaborate with like-minded individuals, share my knowledge and ideas, learn new technologies and methodologies to expand my skillset, and form a long-term relationship with the company.Technical Skills:• 8+ years experience in .NET C#, ASP.NET Web API, MVC, Web Forms.• 4+ years experience as development lead/owner creating/maintaining/refactoring APIs for client integration purposes.• Developed/maintained/extended applications using .NET Core, JSON, Java, Grails, Castle Monorail, Spring, SharePoint, SOAP.• 6+ years designing and developing web frontends using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and associated libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap.• Object orientated design. SOLID principles (separations of concerns, dependency injection, etc.) and architecture patterns.• 6+ years experience working with relational databases. Mainly SQL Server (queries, tables, stored procedures, triggers, table partitioning) and Oracle (querying and execution of functions/procedures using ODP.NET). Also have experience using Elasticsearch (NoSQL) database.
