I run small projects within the Total Retail Petroleum Network. Having completed a Mainline Upgrade Project, the Explorer replacement Project and am currently busy with the WAN Optimization Project which is to install Riverbed devices at all Total ISIS sites and their data centers in order to optimize their WAN traffic to and from site.I also assist with the Pump and Tank changes that occur on sites ensuring that the various system databases are in-line.Troubleshoot any mismatches.Do 3rd line support regarding Wincor Namos and Red Prairie's Blue Cube.Manage IS's contractual obligations ensuring their service is maintained according to SLA. I also co-ordinate the installation of new Diginet lines to new sites.I also get involved with DOMS configuration, which is a Forecourt Controller system that controls the forecourt.

Had to deal with the day to day running of o'Kagans and to ensure the production team delivered on the sales teams promises.

ISIS Deployment Project: Total. Was involved in the pre deployment testing of the ISIS solution for Total. This involved the testing of different pumps connected to the DOMS forecourt controller which had the Wincor Namos Beetle as it's Point of Sale and the Blue Cube back office system. We had to ensure that all devices communicated with each other and that Total were able to complete user acceptance tests. I was also involved in creating the ISIS Deployment manuals used by the technical resources to install the new system at Total sites. I also did the first 2 Pilot sites and acted as the technical resource to validate the Deployment manual and to ensure it covered everything. Once the pilot phase of the Project was complete, I became part of the Remote Support Team and worked from Total Head Office where I supplied remote support the Technical Resources doing the actual on site deployments. After the completion of the ISIS Deployment Project, I moved back to Gijima in Midrand and was made Technical Lead of a team of technical resources. I was also flown over to Germany to get additional Wincor Namos training related to their Point of Sale and Namos Back Office solution.

Technical Resource; went on site to resolve both hardware and software problems specifically for retail Petroleum Sites-Shell, BP,Excel, Caltex and Total.Fuel-Master Projects: Was involved with the Fuel-Master Roll-out at BP Excel.I then was promoted to Technical Support Champion - was based at Head Office and dealt with all site escalations that could not be resolved. Was also tasked with formulating training material and classes for the Technical resources - Retail Petroleum Specific.
