The algorithm was later used in creating Baidu and their search engine. Baidu, (BIDU – Nasdaq) is the largest search engine in China with a valuation of close to $60 Billion. It was also ranked by MIT as the #1 “Smartest Artificial Intelligence Company” in the world.After serving in the USMC, he founded GetUpdated Internet Marketing which was acquired by Oniva (ONG - Nasdaq OMX Nordic). He also helped create Causes, Care.com, OkHello (with Sean Parker – Napster founder and former FaceBook president), and several other companies. He was the first person to reverse engineer Google’s Hilltop and TrustRank algorithms (subsequent to PageRank).
