In my tenure at Splunk, I've built and launched 2 products, Hunk (now Splunk Analytics for Hadoop) and IT Service Intelligence. Now, I'm working on a new confidential project. In my current role, I run PM and Engineering, and previously I ran Product Management for our IT Markets Group which was responsible for product and GTM for all IT related use cases.

Responsible for 24/7 operation of all critical business applications in Front and Back Office. Created 24/7 Offshore operations center responsible for monitoring and alarming of all IT infrastructure, including two datacenters and a carrier grade WAN. Responsible for Configuration Management which deploys all enterprise applications throughout our pre-production environments and into production. Also responsible for all business intelligence operations, including our ETL framework (Data Integrator) and reporting infrastructure (Oracle OBIEE).

I have partnered with my former boss and friend Tom Kirkham to found an advertising agency, Fireball Media (http://www.fireballmedia.com/). I also work as a manager, jack-of-all-trades at Kirkham Systems, Fireball's sister company.

Mycelia Networks produces FireAnt, a video podcast aggregator for Windows and Mac. I architected and implemented FireAnt's web services architecture for use by the application to store profile information, such as user tags, as well as third parties for feed information, etc. I also architected and implemented the FireAnt web based directory, which can be seen at http://fireant.tv/. This included server side aggregation of thousands of feeds into a centralized database. I was also responsible for technical sales, including a successful licensing sale to Stanford University.

Joined the International division to roll out an experimental Linux file/domain/print server running Samba for Windows services in the Caribbean. Relocated to Redmond, WA in January 2004 to continue the position. I am currently the lead architect for the International Division, reporting to the VP/CIO of IT for International. I am responsible for designing our networks and systems for maximum cost/benefit for the business, and I serve as the top tier support for all networks and systems deployed, from our VoIP PBX to our billing systems.

Managed team of developers and operations personnel responsible for developing retail point of sale applications. Responsible for systems and network infrastructure for hosted application solution and outsourced ISP for customers. Responsible for all architecture decisions involving our second-generation product, Visual ProphetLine, including data structures, technology and platform choices.

Network Engineer in charge of all IP traffic on core network of over 80 POPs and 80,000 subscribers. Managed traffic flow for all links. Ordered and provisioned all manner of circuits for carrying IP and TDM voice for terminating customer modem calls. Provisioned and administered terminal servers and modem banks to provide customer network access.
