Responsible for the timely installation, configuration, and maintenance of all network related equipment in a fast-paced, mixed brand environment. Tasked with maintaining connectivity and availability of network resources in a high availability hospital setting. Maintain the enterprise SolarWinds monitoring services for all three locations to assure real-time alerting and troubleshooting of network equipment, file shares, Citrix applications, servers and NetScaler’s. I maintain and update the enterprise ExtraHop solutions for all three locations to collect and monitor wire data for potential issues, leveraging the ExtraHop to identify issues with Office 365, Citrix, Active Directory/Kerberos, DNS, and hundreds of other metrics, usually before the issue is noticeable for end users.Maintain the list of Ransomware threats detectable by ExtraHop, updated daily. I have written and modified several Dashboards for the ExtraHop to identify the network related activity of malware, including BadRabbit Ransomware, as well as triggers identifying and alerting on C&C domains, and host DNS queries to known malicious TLD’s. I regularly check our environment against known and emerging threats. I have tested endpoints for EternalBlue and EternalRomance vulnerabilities, tested for the WPA2 wireless KRACK attack, as well as tested multiple vendor devices for hard-coded key vulnerabilities.I have built several Linux based servers for monitoring the network environment, including MRTG, OpenNMS, Zabbix, NeDi and NetDisco servers trying to find an alternative/backup for SolarWinds.I have built and implemented IP address and device tracking solutions that identify the device name, vendor, MAC address, location and switchport an endpoint is on, enabling faster department and device mapping for Desktop Teams.Assist in configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting Site-to-Site VPN tunnels between our organization and various other parties, remote employees, and off-site locations.
