Working as part of the BT Account Team, the objective was to assist our Clients through the use of the complete IT Portfolio. Key parts of the portfolio included:• Product Supply and Solutions- End User Devices (Desktops/Laptops/Tablets/Smart Phones, etc)- Server/Storage- Print and Audio/Visual equipment)- Networking Solutions (LAN and WLAN)- Security Solutions- Date Centre Solutions- Cloud Services- Professional Services• Core Managed Services included:- Network Maintenance- Hardware Break/Fix Maintenance- Proactive Monitoring/Management- Managed Network Service- Device-as-a-Service- Site Services- Service/Help Desk Services. Key vendor focus included Cisco, Meraki, HP, Fortinet, Dell, Dell EMC, Microsoft and Citrix.

• Responsibilities included growing/maintaining Managed Services business. • The role involved providing IT Managed Services into all market facing units, including Global Services, Wholesale, Public Sector, Major Corporate and Corporate, covering all sectors (including Finance, Legal and Retail) and organisations ranging from small businesses through to multi-national Corporations. • Primarily focused on helping my clients success through our Hardware Break/Fix Maintenance, Network Maintenance, Managed Network Services, Managed Security Services, Service Desk/Help Desk Services, Managed Desktop, Device-as-a-Service, Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Managed Print Services.• In addition to standard sales/account management activities, the role included working closely with the Service Design, Pre-Sales and Finance Teams in developing the services, creating/updating collateral (such as presentations (internal and external), service descriptions and proposal templates) and providing internal Sales Training/Update Sessions.

The role included all aspects of promoting, selling, designing and implementing a Managed Print Service. Key parts of the role included:• Performing Print Audits, Fleet and Service Design, Business Case Justification, Implementation Management and Service Management.• Worked closely with Marketing on web site/service description content and end user events.• Defined and delivered the ongoing sales academy training ensuring all sales personnel were fully aware of the proposition and were able to take it to market.• Worked closely with our core Service Delivery Partners ensuring that joint go to market opportunities were maximised and partnerships strengthened.• Key achievements included; - Received the HP Smart Printing Services Outstanding Performance Award.- Designed, sold, implemented and managed the companies first in-house delivered Managed Print Service, which we successfully ran for many years, through multiple renewals. - Created the collateral for, sold and delivered the companies first chargeable Print Audit. - Sold and implemented HP’s first Smart Printing Services Agreement in the UK. (Now known as Partner MPS or pMPS).

• Running large accounts, fulfilling requirements across the IT infrastructure and providing Managed Services.• Primary areas of specialism included Server, Storage and Virtualisation Solutions, holding many leading accreditations including HP Specialist, VMware Specialism, IBM Champion and Symantec “In The Club” Sales Champion.• Key Clients included Schroder Investment Management, Mars Inc, Motorola, 3Com/Palm, Disney and other market leading organisations.

• Managing a small Sales Team, reporting into the Sales Director, focusing on Major Accounts.• I developed the Team and we became the Top 2 Sales Team within the Company.

Key parts of the role included:• Running my own Accounts, dealing primarily with organisations in Manufacturing, Telecommunications and Education sectors.• In this role key achievements included; - Developed and grew business in a number of accounts to the level where they became top 3 / top 10 accounts for the Company. - Successfully co-designing and implementing the companies first “own” Maintenance Agreement, using in-house Engineers.- Successfully implementing one of the first HP 100BaseVG (Voice Grade) Networks in the UK.

• The role initially started out creating and managing the Company’s first Customer Database and CRM System. Key tasks included walking the streets of London and local areas, looking for medium to large organisations to target, collecting Compliment Slips and the name of the IT Manager/IT Director, cold calling, identifying and developing opportunities.• The role then moved to working with an aligned Account Director and Account Manager, as part of the Sales Teams, where I was responsible for running Accounts on a day-to-day basis, including answering calls, qualifying requirements, generating quotations, managing orders and aged debt.

Through my time at Hobbye and Busbyte Computers I had various roles from Sales, Support Engineer through to Technical Support Manager:• Technical Support Manager – Responsibilities included running all aspects of the Service and Support Department including Maintenance Contract Management, Spare Part Ordering/Stock Control, manning the Help Desk, performing configuration, repairs and on-site installations.• IT Sales – Responsibilities included selling Computer Systems, Printers and Accessories on a local, national and international basis, acting as Shop and Mail Order Manager, managing customer complaints and Key Holder.
