As Programme Manager for the operational delivery of the river basin management plans, I have to ensure a one operational approach to the delivery of the third cycle review and update. I have always had a strong interest in the environment and this has shaped the course of my education from school, through to postgraduate education - researching the importance of organic matter in reducing soil erosion in Italy. Over the 17 years I have been with the Environment Agency I have enjoyed a number of roles working in flood management, evidence and as the South East regional lead for agriculture/diffuse pollution. My most recent role was focussing on agriculture and diffuse rural pollution. Here I had the opportunity to lead on the Water Protection Zone Judicial Review for the Environment Agency.
