The site regularly carries upwards of 30,000 words of copy a week including in depth match previews and reports, features and interviews on future opponents, history pieces and opinion articles. I edit and publish guest columns from a variety of writers, often giving budding young journalists and QPR fans their first chance to have work published. The site has a thriving message board community and I have used Twitter (@loftforwords) and Facebook to help grow its traffic to a point where it is averaging more than 50,000 page impressions a day. Through LFW I have gained experience as a columnist with the QPR fanzine A Kick Up The R's, a regular guest on the Open All R's Podcast produced by Playback Media and in television on broadcasts of Sports Tonight Live and Setanta Sports News. I have also contributed to The Observer videocasts, written a blog for the London Evening Standard website and written general football copy for Goalfood.com. I also have a regular column in the QPR matchday programme. Show less
