Clive stepped away from his MD role at Primeast to allow more time for thought leadership. He wrote two books "PrimeFocus" and "Talent Liberation" which were published by Primeast. He continued his client-facing work including coaching, facilitation, leadership development, talent management and culture change.

Clive was MD at Primeast from 2002 to 2008 where his main achievement was quadrupling the business and delivering a challenging 2008 vision 15 months ahead of schedule in 2007. In addition he worked as a writer, speaker and business coach, specialising in leadership, culture change and talent management.

Clive founded the Beckfield management consultancy upon leaving the electricity industry. This was a successful undertaking, hitting all his business plan targets from a standing start for two years. During this period Clive also worked as an associate for Primeast and was offered the opportunity to merge his Beckfield work into Primeast and take on the MD.

Clive worked in the electricity industry for 27 years, including 13 as a mains engineer, 9 in health and safety and the last 5 managing change as the industry grasped the challenge of full competition. During this time he was passionate about the role of leadership in the management of change.
