Finance Administration Services Manager
CurrentProvision of social support and mentoring programmes to HIV+ pregnant women and recently delivered mothers to help reduce transmission of the virus and promote family health. Employs approx 1500 staff in six African countries with an annual turnover of $20 million:Key Responsibilities:- Past - Manage H.O financial function / oversee Financial Operations in 6 Countries - Monitor and enforce contract compliance - Develop, implement and monitor organization policy and procedure- Manage multiple statutory pre-award and donor audits - Lead reorganization of corporate legal structure in all countries - Treasury management and currency brokerage- Establish Country startup/close out procedures- Manage Asset and Facilities Management - Develop and implement rollout of internet banking systems in all countries- Negotiate procurement and management contracts- Assist with development, implementation and monitoring of Annual Strategic Plan- Develop, monitor and ensure compliance with internal and external policy/ procedures, US Government funding rules and regulations and Donor reporting and contract complianceHighlights:- Implemented new accounting, payroll and operations systems (including Pastel Evolution, Pastel - Payroll and systems to manage and control Site expenditures and communications)- Plan and manage overall audit strategy for 10 countries for Statutory, US Government and Donor audits- Sourced and Project Managed buildout of major new premises in Cape Town and Pretoria - Simplified and standardized donor reporting and budgeting process for 20+ donors- Developed ,Simplified and Managed corporate restructure of country entities- Secured and retained short term forex credit facilities of US$1
