I lead a team of up to 40 people including business analysts, project managers, integration leads, infrastructure, development and quality assurance consisting of both permanent staff and contractors. • Maintaining budgets between $1M - $20M and reporting on spend to the leadership team.• Reporting and updating Senior Leadership team via Status Updates, facilitating Steering Committees and seeking final approval for go live of projects. Technical Project Management: • Facilitating discussions and creating action plans with technical resources to support system integrations, API development and cloud based deployments (AWS). • Co-ordinating internal and external security resources for the purposes of architecture, code assessments and penetration testing. Removal of road blocks faced by the teams and understanding severity of issues identified to ensure that impacts to the project plan were limited. • Working with technical stakeholders to create and manage production deployment run books.• Engaging in the production change management process to seek approval for go lives. Project Oversight and Tracking: To effectively manage and track completion of projects I use the following: • Introduction of the JIRA Project Management Tool to improve our ability and effectives tracking development and to enhance the defect management process. • Creation and Publishing of the Microsoft Project Plan.• Facilitate weekly delivery team meetings with internal and external teams to create open dialogue. The Project Plan is discussed with all project team members and issues/risks addressed. • UAT Approach: identify key UAT resources, creation test strategy, agree timelines, facilitate UAT test huddles and defect management process.
