My only requirement is that leadership is eager to look for evidence and willing to question what they think they know.Underlying my work is a deep-seated passion for maximizing the return on the resources invested, and I believe this equation is as important in the nonprofit sector as it is in investing and business.I work with clients in two main areas:- To develop systems, tools, and processes that enable efficient understanding, reporting, and use of data in the management of their organizations' resources.- To build thoughtful, data-based strategic plans that will inform the governance and management of their organizations.

Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer of a $25 million school management organization serving a four-school network of more than 2300 urban K-12 students. Directly managed three directors and oversaw 50% of central office staff. Led data analytics tying student test gains to the evaluation of teacher effectiveness and led development of a cloud-based performance management system for data collection, management, and analysis.

Clients included New Schools for New Orleans as interim CFO, a Washington, DC charter school, an India-based operator of 115 K-12 schools, and The Center on Reinventing Public Education, University of Washington. Work included medium- and long-term financial planning and modeling; management of budget process; financial system, reporting, and process development; valuation work and negotiations; financial and economic research.

PRA specializes in land acquisition and mixed use real estate development in India. Managed the firm’s U.S. office in Chicago, led the firm's global investor development, and teamed with two partners on project acquisition, financing, and execution.

Managed a team of 14 analysts that published research and valuation opinions on more than 300 companies; hired, trained, and evaluated team members.
