Chad has been marketing the incredible inventions from the Office of Technology Licensing at St. Jude in March 2013. Prior to that, Chad received his MBA from the University of Tennessee (2006), and founded Mill Creek Holdings, LLC (2007) - a Technology Transfer and New Technologies Consulting Firm with clients that include the University of Memphis, the State University of New York, Voices Heard Media, Elixir Media Group, 360ip, Innovation Valley Partners, Battelle Ventures, SoHoVista, Aldis, & Academy Funds; and 6 years with Oak Ridge National Laboratory (2006-2013). He obtained his BS in Engineering Design from East Tennessee State University and was previously employed in doing 3D design for video games, TV, medical/surgical simulation, and construction; as staff and as a manager. He also has been constantly engaged with the communities that surround his work. He starts, organizes and leads groups; and plans and coordinates enrichment activities and competitions do encourage and develop new skills.With his company, Chad spent 6 years in and around Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Department of Energy’s largest science and energy laboratory, marketing the Technology Transfer Division's intellectual property and scientific capabilities to industrial partners to ensure the fullest use of the results of the nation’s federal investment in research and development. Chad worked outside the lab with start-ups and venture capital firms. Most recently two years contract work during the pandemic as a Marketing and Licensing Associate in the University of Memphis FedEx Institute of Technology.Specialties: Chad is a specialist whenever it comes to "new" things, product development, and how they will play out in their environment. He does this by using his skills in innovation, design, technology, media, marketing, IP, CRM, sales, strategy, and business intelligence to produce engineering, entertainment, new technology, new/social media, science, commercialization and business development projects.
