I am pursuing a career in architecture focused on renovation, conservation, and repurposing of existing and, more specifically, historic structures, while integrating new construction methods (e.g. digital fabrication). Rather than focusing on the new or old, I am interested in the evolution of the built environment, and what we can do to improve it. I am dedicated to continued learning and the implementation of new technologies utilized to enhance design in architecture such as; 3d printing, CNC milling, etc. A healthy relationship between the built environment and nature is essential, and possible through the implementation of passive and active sustainable systems. I believe the architect has the social responsibility to design spaces which promote a culture of interconnectivity and enhance our relationship with our environment.
