I am passionate about creating products that reflect the diversity, needs, and preferences of all users. As the Director of Product Inclusion and Content Quality at Renaissance Learning, I lead the strategy for ensuring our content and products are inclusive, appropriate, and representative of the students we serve. Using my skills in project management, research, data analysis, and cross-functional team leadership, I have (1) enabled the measurement and visualization of racial and gender representation in content, (2) implemented a system to conduct thematic analyses of content-related complaints, contributing to a significant reduction in DEI-related customer support cases, and (3) developed a research-based framework to inform our inclusive content strategy. My mission is to ensure that our products are not only effective and engaging, but also equitable and inclusive.
