Risk Claims Management
Current• Management/administrator of County Risk Division’s Origami Risk Claims platform.• Management/administrator of County Risk Division’s LexisNexis-Accurint account.• Provides recommendations to mitigate and limit the County’s liability exposure from both third-party claims and in-house losses.• Ensures the County Attorney is informed of all legal, safety, and liability issues.• Collaboration with County Attorney’s Office and Risk Division Manager in processing of settlements in accord with Resolution No. 24-249 governing the Self Insurance fund and all other appropriate resolutions of the Board of County Commissioners.• Contributes as liaison between the County and the excess insurance for property and liability claims processing.• Directs the subrogation and restitution processes, collaborating with the District Attorney’s Office, involving property and liability claims to be brought against responsible third parties.
