Christian De Jager is a historical researcher with over a decade of experience with independent research, analysis, and writing. He is well versed in cyber policy and its application in political communications, strategic studies, international relations, and geopolitics. He also holds extensive knowledge of Canadian politics, Canadian foreign policy, Canadian and international history, government relations, and geography. He maintains strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills, having facilitated presentations, lectures, and conference panel discussions. His recent focus has been on indigenous Canadian history, Canadian electoral history, and Russian cyber and information warfare strategy. He is a highly adaptable and detail-oriented problem solver and multitasker. He speaks five languages (English, Afrikaans, German, Dutch, and Flemish) and maintains extensive experience in gathering and synthesizing information from multiple sources into written deliverables. He is able to take initiative and comfortably assume a leadership role, working comfortably both independently and as a team member. He has travelled to 50 countries and has lived in four different provinces (Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario) and on three different continents (Africa, North America, Europe).He maintains two years of experience in teaching history and has presented original research at three academic conferences in Canada and South Africa.
