I am a sustainability copywriter and editor based in Knoxville, Tennessee. I apply my background in engineering and experience in the federal government and nonprofit sectors to bring a storytelling, problem-solving approach to all of my writing projects. My past position at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency enabled me to hone my writing skills producing guidance documents, fact sheets and brochures, communication strategies, web copy, and PowerPoint presentations. I have served as a Grant Project Officer, planned and conducted workshops and recognition events, and developed training modules for a youth sports coach training on children’s environmental health.I love to write and I enjoy using my writing skills to help others whether it is through conveying information in an easy-to-understand format, providing outreach, telling a success story, or teaching someone something new. Words have tremendous power to inspire, educate, and persuade an audience. My job is to harness the power of words and make that power work for you.
