Nothing like jumping out of the real world to start your own business. So, a loan and some camera gear later I was off. Freelance shooting network news, documentaries, weddings and pretty much anything else that would pay the bills. Learning how to be your own boss as well as create a business from the ground up proved to be a wonderful learning.

Working at an NBC Owned and Operated TV station I was very lucky to shoot solo stories and travel extensively. We were also a test market for DVC Pro equipment. Needless to say lucky for me she was in a good news and thus my video storytelling career began.

Oh this should not really be filled out. I was the Chyron operator for the morning show as well as the TD shouting over the Director's shoulder if she wasn't paying attention. After my shift I would head out with the sports guys to learn to shoot and then head over to my full time job so that I could actually pay the bills.
