Current•Author various grant proposals, quarterly reports, briefing documents, and statistical data related to workforce/economic development•Research national layoff aversion strategies utilizing WIOA funding to implement new strategies in SEWN’s work•Developed and launched a statewide website for businesses to easily search public sector resources•Proposed and was granted additional funding to offer Incumbent Worker Training grants to companies utilizing SEWN services•Produced a series workforce development videos sharing best practices and ideas•Showcase the SVA through bi-partisan relationships within federal, state, regional, and local government •Implemented a Manufacturing Dashboard project using PowerBi to compile data from various sources to identify at-risk companies•Worked with various SEWN clients on projects including training program requests, website redesigns, and marketing plans•Interact weekly with all staff located across the state to ensure needs are being met•Acquired nonprofit licenses for Salesforce database and worked with outside consultant to implement strategies for tracking client, outreach, and partner interactions•Administer annual budget of $3M in compliance with WIOA and ARC federal & state grant guidelines•Work with staff accountant to develop annual budgets based on needs of the organization and track for monthly reporting to funding sources•Foster the Board of Directors to recruit members & maintain compliance requirements•Rewrote financial policies to ensure alignment with Federal, GSA, and state guidelines•Orchestrated a rebranding of the SVA, SEWN, and Heartland websites, brochures, e-newsletters, and related materials•Established PayPal accounts for donations with no fees and moved accounts payable to online/ACH payments eliminating paper checks•Manage daily operations including support staff, state oversight visits, audits, facility management, vendors, human resources, IT support/contractors, & union negotiations
