- Managed the total company IT infrastructure and network for 130 employees across 5 sites at the main campus, warehouse, and remote users. Recognized as subject matter expert on systems support by the user community.- Migration of key application servers from a physical to a virtual platform, including: reconfiguration, power, network design and OS upgrade. This resulted in enhanced performance and overall cost-saving.- Utilization of penetration testing software on both production and development servers, using a variety of tools to scan the network and test for vulnerabilities. With the installation of plug-ins and modification of configuration files, the result was a more secure platform for end-users.- Implemented a point-of-sale database system, ensuring that it was secure for credit card transactions and was accessible by point-of-sale workstations for remote events. This resulted in smooth transactions with little waiting time for customers.
