As an IT Project and Security Manager with a proven track record in higher education, I am passionate about using technology to drive innovation, streamline operations, and enhance learning environments. With a background that spans cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, and AI policy development, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic vision to every project.Currently, I lead IT initiatives at Madisonville Community College, part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). In my role, I oversee the planning, deployment, and management of critical IT infrastructure, ensuring that our systems not only meet today’s demands but are also future-ready. From campus-wide ISP transitions to developing isolated networks for specialized training programs, I focus on implementing solutions that improve performance, security, and cost efficiency.Beyond my day-to-day responsibilities, I contribute to the KCTCS AI Workgroup, where we’re pioneering AI policy and usage across all KCTCS colleges. This initiative reflects my commitment to exploring innovative ways AI can enhance both classroom engagement and operational productivity.
