As an IT Project and Security Manager with a proven track record in higher education, I am passionate about using technology to drive innovation, streamline operations, and enhance learning environments. With a background that spans cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, and AI policy development, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic vision to every project.Currently, I lead IT initiatives at Madisonville Community College, part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). In my role, I oversee the planning, deployment, and management of critical IT infrastructure, ensuring that our systems not only meet today’s demands but are also future-ready. From campus-wide ISP transitions to developing isolated networks for specialized training programs, I focus on implementing solutions that improve performance, security, and cost efficiency.Beyond my day-to-day responsibilities, I contribute to the KCTCS AI Workgroup, where we’re pioneering AI policy and usage across all KCTCS colleges.
